The Site: Soledad and Dev Null (Leo Laporte)
Go back to 1996/7 and the fledgling new channel MSNBC. Keith Olbermann was still doing sports at the time and not giving scathing commentaries. Young George W Bush was between the Texas Govenorship and managing the Texas Rangers. Bill Clinton did not have “sex” with that woman. And finally there was a show to help mainstream the Internet to folks with basic cable. Leo Laporte played Dev Null, while Soledad O’Brien was the host of the show called The Site.
