The final part of the BBC series that examines the rise of the Neoconservatives and Al Qeada. In this episode we learn that Al Qeada is basically a term used by the US Government to describe the loose group of terrorist around Osama Bin Laden. The name was then picked up by Bin Laden after September 11th. The use of the name Al Qeada helped to give the threat a name and an image. In reality the threat of a sophistcated network of sleeper cells and terrorist ready to strike may have been overstated. What ever happened to the Lackawanna 6 Terroist sleeper cell?
