Thanks to a lame rant by Glenn (don’t make me think too much) Beck I found out that there is a new GI Joe movie in production. No the recent IMDB listing says that the Joes will not be based in Brussels Belgium, but in the location-less “Pit” somewhere in the desert US I suppose or Iraq. Markie Mark Walberg is set to play Duke the leading Joe. Walberg has too much of a babyface to play Duke. A more appropriate choice would be slightly older. I can’t think of another actor off the top of my head though.

The 1980s GI Joe movie is one of my favorites from my childhood. That along with the Transformers Movie where Optimus Prime dies. On YouTube a man named Dr. Black tells you why GI Joe The Movie is the Greatest Movie ever made. Did you know that Don Johnson, Peter O’Toole and Burgess Meredith were just a few of the famous voices in the movie?
