Terror Alerts Used For Political Gain
The timing of Terror Alerts has always been suspect especially since we have not had a major Terror Alert since the 2004 election. Crooks and Liars looks at the latest revelation that was summed up on Countdown with Keith Olberman.
According to Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Terrorism Risk Assessment, the Bush administration knowingly used bogus intelligence to make lawmakers believe there was the chance of an imminent attack on the U.S. Capitol, thus frightening them into passing the temporary expansion of his powers to spy on Americans under the FISA act.
Olbermann has explored the unique timing of previous Terror Alerts wondering about the convenience of the timing. Remember the Terror Alerts following the Democratic Convention in 2004?

In Italy no one trusts politicians, and is it any wonder, just take a look at the info from “The Fleecing of America” granted this info has made its rounds in emails, but I thought I would post it.
