Ron Paul: It Can’t Happen Here
The “extreme” Presidential Candidates on both the Republican and Democratic side seem to make the most sense than some of the more mainstream candidates. Take a look at Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul two guys that have diametrically opposing views, but they both pretty much agree that the current course on the “War on Terror” is not good. Ron Paul makes a good argument about the slowly encroaching Police State that we are encouraging our Government to form out of fear of Terrorist.
…proponents argue, the government is doing all this to catch the bad guys. If you don’t have anything to hide, they ask, what are you so afraid of? The answer is that I’m afraid of losing the last vestiges of privacy that a free society should hold dear. I’m afraid of creating a society where the burden is on citizens to prove their innocence, rather than on government to prove wrongdoing. Most of all, I’m afraid of living in a society where a subservient populace surrenders its liberties to an all-powerful government.

Top Gear: Citroen C6
Following up on the BOSE suspension post earlier, the Citroen’s from France have been know for their super smooth and comfortable suspensions. The historically large cars with the half hidden rear wheels were totally French and not very conventional. Jeremy Clarkson laments the old Citroens and tests out a new C6 which is missing most of the old quirks. The suspension is still super smooth and silky especially when going over horribly potholed paths.
