Can’t afford a Lamborghini? You can get some pretty good road going performance from what is essentially a rally car where you can put a baby seat in the back.

Human Slingshot Video

It looks like it could be fake, but I guess it is not. Take some bungiecords, tie them to each side. Use a four wheel ATV to pull the slingshottie and then let go. Wow, you won’t believe your eyes.

Odd EDS commercial for how they do business. Does the commercial convey that you will be running while half your system is built? Is this a good thing? They won’t meet the final specs fully so you will be running on half a product. Oh goodie, where do I sign up?

iPhone is cool, but what about the other stuff?

Just like any tech geek in the world I eagerly awaited the latest Steve Jobs Keynote speech at Mac World Expo. I do not presently own an Apple computer, but have been seriously thinking of getting a MacBookPro 17″ model. The only issue is the cost and the unknown future releases of a new MacBookPro or other machine that is much better.

The MacExpo Keynotes and other Apple surprise announcements are great for marketing Apple products. Jobs is a master at creating buzz about great Apple products. The only problem I have is that with all of the unknown it is tough for a regular guy as myself to justify getting the latest Apple gear year after year. I received an Apple IPod Mini in Silver two years ago for Christmas. A few months back my battery died. Instead of shelling out $60 for a replacement which would mean getting a different refurbished model from Apple, I decided to replace my own battery.
