10 Random Facts About Knight Rider
Walker Texas Ranger is tough, Jack Bauer is tough, but these guys are all human. Who would be the toughest TV show character of all time? Well, it is a combo. Take Michael Knight and his car KITT and they would give a run at both Jack Bauer or Walker Texas Ranger. Michael Knight did have to fake his own death just before he became Michael Knight. Smart Car Crash
The Smart Cars are slowly trickling their way to the US. They are all over Europe as their size a fuel efficiency are a natural fit for countries used to driving in Fiat 500 cars and other tiny vehicles. Smart are made by Mercedes, or DaimlerChrysler. They are a spin off company much like Mini is to BMW.
The Smart Car may look funny and dangerous, but these cars a serious in terms of engineering and fuel efficiency.

Gumball 3000: Enzo in Calabria
The further adventures of Team 56 in the Gumball 3000 Rally include following and then being ahead of a Ferrari Enzo. The Enzo driver’s girlfriend has to get out to pay the toll at one point because that is a tough thing to do with that car. The Enzo eventually gets back ahead of the team with some fearsome speed only to get stuck behind two trucks. The Rally winds its was through Calabria, Italy Astrochimp’s home region.
Gumball 3000
The Gumball 3000 is a rally with exotic cars. Last year’s rally circled around Europe, starting at Trafalgar Square in London, moving on down to Sicily and then to Rome. This video is an inside look at the cars during a stop in Toarmina, Sicily. Taormina is a hilltown situated near Mount Etna, half way between Catania and Messina.
Next video shows the Rally out on the open road somewhere in Europe.

Super Mario Kill Bill
Youtube has the scene from Kill Bill 1 where Kiddo fights Gogo with Super mario music. The video is a bit slow at first, but the end of the fight, you can see the brilliance of dubbing Super mario music over the scene. Warning, this video contains graphic violence.

Chuck Norris is tough, but Jack Bauer is tougher. Walker Texas Ranger never had to deal with Terrorist and get things done in 24 hours….or did he? Anyway, Jack Bauer is tough, and he is the new man with the Random Facts. Let’s enjoy this new meme together shall we?

Volvo Folding Hard-top and Transformers
AutoBlog has a
blurb about the Volvo C70 retracting hard top that brings to mind a Transformer toy. The top splits into three sections that gradually slide into the trunk.

Chuck Norris finally responds to the mini meme about “Random Facts About Chuck Norris”. Via Boing Boing and other sources.
Chuck follows the “Chuck Norris Code of Ethics” by saying that:
…Being more a student of the Wild West than the wild world of the Internet, I’m not quite sure what to make of it. It’s quite surprising. I do know that boys will be boys, and I neither take offense nor take these things too seriously…
Boys will be boys, even in his light hearted reply there is a subtle slam. However, looking at the link below proves that Chuck Norris’ powers are beyond mere mortal comprehension. The creator of the original Chuck Norris Facts site looks like he is still in high school.
Top Gear: Renault F1
Can’t get enough of the Top Gear videos on Google. This time, the Top Gear crew get to test a Renault F1 car from last year. This is just before Fernando Alonso took over as the youngest ever Formula One World Champion.
Fernando could not be around to actually do a test drive, so the Top Gear folks got a very cool present. The Top Gear test track previously had a fastest speed of 1:19 set by the Enzo Ferrari. This beat the Porsche Carrera super car by just about about one second. Renault engineers were fairly confident that the Renault F1 could get around in about one minute.
