Wordpress 2.0
Just installed Wordpres 2.0. The upgrade was easy, I did not do the backups and did not disable all of my plugins, but it worked easily. Some new features that are quickly noticable are the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor for posts and the upload an image feature on the “Write Post” page. The Admin section gets a little more color and some more javascript goodness. Some of the extra post options such as post-slug, categories (although I use the tag plugin), discussion and author details are now on the side and hidden via expandable boxes. I will have to work through some more of the details, but initial impressions are good. Nice work Wordpress folks.
